Beef Sausages Recipe

Beef sausages in a rich onion gravy

🥰 Slow cooker ALERT!

I am all about little hacks which allow me to come home and spend time with my family (hubby and puppy), rather than cooking for hours in the kitchen. I usually I cook my sausages in the oven but because I’m on a slow cooker high at the moment, I thought ‘why not, what’s the worst that could happen?!’ And boy! Am I glad because theres no turning back for me now.

I never expected them to turn out so soft and delicious. They absorbed so much flavour and was approved by my husband. ♡ top tip: if you like a crisper sausage skin, flash fry them prior for a couple of minutes.

✔Recipe serves 2.
✔Prep time: 5 minutes.
✔Cooking time: 8-10 hours on low (Mine were on for 10 due to longer work hours and were fab!) Ingredients: ▪︎8 beef sausages

Ingredients

▪︎1 large onion
▪︎1 beef stock pot or stock cube
▪︎1 cup water (I used cold) ▪︎splash of worchester sauce.

Method

Slice the onion and place at the bottom of the slow cooker. Add one stock pot or cube, water and sausages on top.

Tips

🔥 Dont be tempted to add any extra water. It makes it’s own sauce!

Happy cooking x
