Who ever said treat day should only be on weekends, has obviously never had a slice of homemade chocolate chip cookie dough fudge ๐ because with fudge, TREAT DAY IS EVERY DAY!
Super sweet, super creamy and super delicious!
This fudge recipe is so simple and has two elements, homemade fudge and homemade cookie dough #wow
Recipe:
For the fudge –
- 65g brown sugar
- 75g butter
- 80ml double cream or milk
- 550g icing sugar
- 80g chocolate chips
- For the cookie dough –
- 75g butter
- 50g brown sugar
- 50g caster sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 65g plain flour
- 2tbsp double cream or milk
Method:
Starting with the cookie dough, cream together the butter and sugar. Add the vanilla and milk or cream and beat together until smooth. Mix in the flour until combined. Do not over mix.
For the fudge, in a saucepan melt together the sugars, butter and double cream. Whisk in one cup of icing sugar at a time to thicken, repeat until all of the icing sugar has been used. Mix in the choc chips.
Dollop the cookie dough in a lined 8×8 dish and pour over the fudge mixture. Using a skewer, feather the cookie dough and fudge mixture, swirling the two together. Sprinkle some choc chips on top and chill in the fridge for 3 hours.
